JAMES BRODIE'S 'BROKEN BLUE SKIES' BOOK LAUNCH
Saturday 19 October 2019, from 07:30am

James Brodie's autobiography "Broken Blue Skies" is released worldwide on Saturday October 19th 2019, and you're invited to join in the fun.

Join James Brodie live on stage as he talks about his life with Autism, ADHD, and Mental Health Issues in-depth for the first time as he launches his autobiography in his hometown of Te Aroha. A variety of subjects are covered in this talk, from growing up in a country town and attending Elstow-Waihou Combined School to his early days performing with Future Te Aroha's ACTA troupe and later- performing his music as alternative rock musician Ivy Blue for 9,000 people over 3 days in Germany, and the many subjects in-between (including some that are not covered in the book); this is an evening not to be missed as James reflects on his life and near-2 decade career as a performer, musician, mental health advocate, and now an author.

James will also answer questions from the audience and provide a short musical performance before concluding the evening with a meet and mingle session. This event is ideal for people who want to learn more about mental health and neurological disability from the viewpoint of someone with it, but if you're looking for a good night out- then this event will cover you as well.

Doors open to the venue at 7.00pm, James Brodie takes to the stage at 7.30pm SHARP!
Books will be available for sale on the night.
