COVID-19 COMMEMORATIVE PLANTING - GRASS STOMPING/ TREE PLANTING DAY
Saturday 30 October 2021, from 10:00am

It has been a little over a year when the community planted 500

kahikatea trees at Skidmore reserve to honour essential workers and
those who died during the global Covid-19 pandemic, which is still going
on.
More trees and shrubs have been planted since.
Come and catch up this Saturday for a little while and help plant some
more trees/shrubs, do some grass stomping or just come and have a chat
and check out the plants. Maps with location of trees will be available to
take home. Bring some gloves, if you have, and wear boots or sturdy
shoes. Spades will be available.
Look forward seeing you on Saturday
