COMMUNITY COMMEMORATIVE PLANTING DAY
Sunday 30 August 2020, from 10:00am

Everybody's Welcome

KEEP TE AROHA BEAUTIFUL in partnership with MATAMATA-PIAKO DISTRICT COUNCIL & TE URU RAKAU

invite you to attend a COVID-19 commemorative planting day to honour essential workers and those who died and

suffered during the global pandemic.

The Kahikatea prefers swampy ground but, stability is impaired by the unstable root environment.

Thus the saying "Me uru Kahikatea" - if we are on shaky ground.

Therefore the God Tane ordained that their root systems should intertwine to ensure stability and uprightness.
