BRYANT MEMORIAL RESERVE AND NGARUNUI AND WATER RACE TRACKS

Ngaruni Track is 20 minutes one way with an excellent view point northward along the coast. 

The Water Race track is 25 minutes long on the way through regenerating coastal forest, which leads to a seat and a water intake - supply for the Bryant home.  

The track follows an historic water race which in 1924 powered a generator providing electricity for the Bryant home.

Bryant home is a purpose built facility built by the founder, Dan Bryant on the lower slopes of Mount Karioi in Raglan to accommodate short stay convalescent children.

It enjoys a commanding view of the Raglan Bar and north up the west coast.
