BLUE LAKE, ROTORUA + OREKA WALKWAY

This 5.5km loop walk takes us right around the Blue lake. 

About a third of the way, the track enters the bush, following the lake until coming to a secluded beach at the south end.

Head up the stairs to the car park and take a right to continue around the lake.

Enjoy native bush and quiet beaches.

The track provides good opportunities to look out over the Blue Lake (Tikitapu) and Grenn Lake (Rotokakahi).

1.5 hour loop

As all of these walks are around four hours or less we will plan to leave Te Aroha Domain at 9:00am for every walk to make it easier for people to remember.

Subscriptions for the 2019/2020 year are $1.00 each and are now due.  The club has decided to cover petrol costs for the coming year making it cheaper to travel.

Family and friends are welcome to join us on our walks.  There are always new places to explore, old favourites to revisit and friends to catch up with – and if you have any suggestions for future walks – please share your ideas!
