We follow the Tauhu Track from Hot Springs Road, Katikati. 

There's a bit of a climb then the track goes along an undulating ridge to a view of Sentinel Rock, an isolated rocky outcrop easdt of the main ridge of the Kaimais.

The view of the surrounding valley is spectacular on a clear day.

About five hours return the same way.
