We shall be celebrating Children’s Day on Domain Day from 2017. An extension to the children’s activities will be a Pentathlon. Children will register, be included in a group and take part in no less than 5 planned activities. Development in fun and meaningful ways, Stall Holders will ply their homemade or NZ produced wares and music will he heard live or canned, throughout the whole day.
CHILDREN’S DAY PENTATHLON GUIDELINES
It is expected that Children celebrate Children’s Day with the following set of 5 activities which make up the Pentathlon Event,
Each child must register to play in one group of 5-10.
A group will be formed as each child registers via 1 2 3 4 5 lists with a mix of Primary and Secondary School Age groups.
There is time for 5 groups of 10, to complete the Pentathlon so numbers may be adjusted as necessary.
Whanau and friends please cheer on the group in which your child has registered.
In the event that more than 50 children register, there will be an M morning round and A afternoon round.
The games will commence with a ‘Shotgun’ Start. The 6 games are to allow the swim period of 30 minutes per group.

THE EVENTS
1. Dress up – Photoshoot/ Make Up. Wear a costume around the domain for 10 minutes.
2. Kai Serve- Cook and serve bbq sausages & Butter bread and fold serviettes
3. Te Aroha Croquet Club- Through the hoops
4. Swim Zone Pools-/Cards 11
5. Sing a Song with Stan/Ukestration song When a Child is Born.
6. Make a Badge/ Make a Mural
7. Mountain View Church Activities
