Married in St Mark’s Church, they then headed through town in a horse-drawn carriage to an afternoon tea/reception in Domain House.
The wedding followed a 1920s theme, with the service conducted by Rev Ian Harrop, priest’s assistant at St Mark’s.
"I always thought I’d like to do that, and Jenny is keen on horses," said Mr Lowe. "We also liked the venue."
April 6 was the day they got together in 2005, got engaged on in 2008 and got married on in 2009.
Mr Lowe runs two orchestras is Auckland and the pair – who both play the trumpet – met in a band.
