i-SITE

Te Aroha has always had an ‘Information Centre'. From modest beginnings in 1884 as a ticket office to the baths in the Domain, we came under the Department of Tourist and Health Resorts with funding from central government. Today we are funded by the Matamata Piako District Council and operate as part of the national Visitor Information Network (VIN Inc.) – the domestic arm of Tourism New Zealand.

We are open 7 days a week, including all Public Holidays except Christmas day.
