Domain House |
| |
Domain House is one of many historic buildings in the beautiful setting of the Te Aroha Domain. It is looked after by the Matamata Piako District Council and is available for hire to the public. Originally built as a tea kiosk for the Domain in 1908 this beautiful Edwardian building is the perfect setting for a small special occaisions such as weddings, birthday luncheons or afternoon teas, small conferences or meetings. There is seating for 38 people with a maximum of 75 people standing. Facilities include 4 folding tables and 38 chairs; crockery, cutlery and glassware for 25 people. Local caterers are available on request and alcohol is restricted. Booking fee - $15.00, half day - $102.00 minimum, full day - $153.00, bond - $250.00 |

Waihou Community Hall |

The Historic Waihou Hall is the ideal, low cost venue for family gatherings, weddings (close to Waihou Church), indoor sports, community activities and business meetings. Fully fitted kitchen for self-catering. A small and large room with plenty of parking. Full hall hire is $200, partial hire less. The Hall is administered on a non-profit basis by the local community. |
